    The people making the Avengers trailers should just get medals at this point. While they clearly did have plenty of good source material (!), I’m amazed at how each trailer feels so fresh and exciting and builds on the previous trailers in a way that makes you go, “Damn, I REALLY want to see this movie.”

    At this rate, I’ll be having a stroke by the time I’m sitting in the theater and the opening credits are playing.

    NEW GAME OF THRONES TRAILER. DAENERYS DIALOGUE. Excuse me while I go replay this fifty times. I haven’t read the books, yet I’m ridiculously excited for the second season. People who have read them must be having a case of the head-explodies right now!

    Here’s the new Game of Thrones season two teaser trailer that HBO released a few days ago. You don’t see much, but Stannis Baratheon’s narration is totally goose-bump-worthy. Also, I have to admit that I love seeing Joffrey get dissolved just as Stannis says, “…or I will destroy them.” Ha!

    There’s also a new behind-the-scenes promo that mostly focuses on weapons, which serves as interesting without really giving anything away. As a side-note, am I the only one who thinks it would be weird to be wearing normal clothes while so many actors/extras are standing around in gorgeous medieval costumes? I am? Ok, at least that’s settled.

    The new trailer for The Hunger Games is seriously everything I hoped for and more. I think I’ve watched it ten times in the last hour or something. I wanted to be able to tell you my favorite part, but there’s just no way to choose one moment. So many things about this preview make me wildly excited that I can barely stand it. How perfect is Effie? How heart-wrenching is Katniss’s volunteer moment? Is there any chance that whistle at the end isn’t Katniss and Rue’s signal? 

    The ONE thing in the trailer that I would consider a potential let-down is Katniss’s red dress when she’s on stage with Caesar. A simple red dress? What’s up with that? That doesn’t look like a “girl on fire” to me. 

    But everything else about this trailer is so glorious, I’m just going to focus on the good for now… Excuse me, I think I need to go watch it again. TGO!

     YAY! I am so pshyched. I hope this trailer is as overwhelmingly awesome as the one for The Avengers. Like I said before, I would love to get a glimpse of the Capitol and District 12, even if it’s half a second each. And I know this kind of contradicts what I said the last time I posted about The Hunger Games, but I think what I’m most excited about is seeing Jennifer Lawrence actually playing Katniss. Sure, we saw her cautiously walking around in that preview-of-a-preview, and we’ve seen stills, but this time we’ll (presumably) get to see her in character to the full extent for the first time. Dialogue, people. There will be dialogue! THAT is just ridiculously exciting.  Via Facebook.
